Teacher’s Day Ceremony and Celebrations of Top Professors Were Held Online in SRTTU

Teachers’ Day, is a national day held annually on 2 May. Teachers’ Day in Iran, aims to focus on appreciating the teachers of Iran and to provide an opportunity to consider issues related to teachers and teaching. At the beginning of this session, Dr. Azemati, the president of the Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University spoke about some of the achievements of the university in recent years, especially in the field of education. Referring to the significant increase in the admission of student teachers in line with the university missions and the needs of the relevant ministry, he announced the presence of more than 7,500 students in 2021 and a 5-fold increase in students compared to 2014.

 

He considered responding to the needs of the society, especially the Ministry of Education of Iran, as one of the important missions of the university and added: “In this regard, several measures have been taken such as the development of university disciplines.” The president of the university considered the creation of a field of school management in technical and vocational schools as one of the university’s activities in this field, which is one hundred percent in line with the university’s mission.
