Expressing his gratitude\u00a0for linking\u00a0<span lang=\"en\" xml:lang=\"en\">science diplomacy\u00a0<\/span>with Iran\u2019s whole-of-system approach\u00a0to fighting the pandemic, Dr. Scholz\u00a0<span lang=\"en\" xml:lang=\"en\">emphasized the importance of allowing science to lead the global response \u201cat a time when trade and transport barriers are impeding the movement of critical materials.\u201d<\/span><span lang=\"en\" xml:lang=\"en\">He called Iran\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\" xml:lang=\"en\">belongs to the group of top five research countries worldwide while warmly welcomed Iran\u2019s initiative to reach out and build a \u201cglobal research platform of senior epidemiologist and clinical pharmacologists on blood plasma therapy to jointly fight the effects of COVID-19.\u201d He referred to the Austrian experts\u2019 readiness for their Iranian counterparts and hoped to link relevant research institutions with prospective Iranian partners. In following, Austria\u2019s Ambassador\u00a0<\/span>referred to a\u00a0new post-2020 architecture for their SRT cooperation.
