The workshop will cover a brief introduction to deep CNN and its success in computer vision. In addition I will introduce MatConvNet, a matlab-based toolbox for developing deep convolutional networks. Following the introduction, we will see how well these feedforward models of vision explain the neural representations across the hierarchy of ventral visual pathway.
